A. Baseplate
Features
|
The two-piece,
marine-grade fiberglass baseplate is a direct replacement for the
stock seat. All brackets align with stock mounts for quick installation.
Rubber bumpers are positioned to protect the frame and fender.

B. Removal of
Stock Seat
|
|

1. Remove rear fender screw at back of passenger seat.
2. Pull rear seat back and up.
|

3. Remove passenger
handstrap.
|
|
4.
Remove screw at rear of solo seat.
5. Pull solo back and up. |
|
|
C. Mounting
of Mustang Seat
|
|
|
1. Center solo
on frame. |
2. Push down and
forward to engage the
solo's nose bracket into receiver under gas tank. |
|

3. Align solo's
rear bracket with the 6mm hole in
fender and install stock bolt. Tighten with an 8mm wrench.
|
Passenger Seat
|

1. Align the front bracket of passenger
seat with the U-bracket on fender. |
2. Lift rear of
seat slightly and slide forward until rear chrome bracket
aligns with the 6mm hole in fender. |

3. Install stock bolt and
tighten with an 8mm wrench. |
